The members of the Friday Book Club organised Read at Dusk. This was a special time after school where students could bring snacks, cushions and books for a relaxing read and discussion in the Library.
Two students read aloud the poetry they had written, and there was plenty of chat about books and preparations for the School Formal. Congratulations to our Book Club on organising such a pleasant afternoon to celebrate Book Week.

Book Week has arrived to generate excitement and interest in the latest books written by our talented Australian authors and illustrators.
We have celebrated this fabulous occasion by enjoying the Living Library and Poetry Slam Workshop. These were exciting opportunities to experience Australia! Story Country. The Book of the Year Awards has recognised the winning entrants and highlighted the best of the best for readers.
Book Week is a favourite time for teachers and teacher Librarians, but did you know our Minster for Education also values Book Week? Please take a few moments to share in Minister Close's favourite books for children.
The National Science Week school theme is Drones, Droids and Robots.

We are looking forward to our Poetry Slam Workshop next week.
